Preserving Our Forests
The topic on Forests Preservation is one that many of us take for granted. That's not good enough because our forests are directly related to our livelihoods. Medicines, animals, wood, water, and almost every natural object around us has a link to our forests and trees. The depletion of our forests mean that we are heading for a natural disaster as there is a distortion in the ecosystem. The purpose of this lesson is to introduce our young people to some basic information regarding forests.
Also, the solutions are more effective by large scale reforestation projects and government efforts to protect them, rather than what individuals like you and me can do. But again, this is a good starting point, as ‘knowledge is always power to do things’. After we have learned about how useful our forests are, we can then grow to have a more responsible attitude towards them.
